The Forsayth Library is situated in Forth Street (next to the CWA Hall).  The Library is open on Mondays from 2.30pm to 4.00pm.  Internet facilities are available.  If you would like to access the library out of these times you can contact Veronica Loudon on 40625 330.



The Georgetown Library is housed in the TerrEstrial Centre in Low Street.  It is free for permanant Shire residents to become a member of the Georgetown Library.  For visitors who are staying in town for a few days, you can also borrow books.  A $30 bond is required for the loan of books and on return of these books the bond is returned to you. 

The Library also allows access to Ancestry Libray Edition for those budding family historians!

Opening hours are October - March, 5 days 8.30am - 4.30pm and April - September, 7 days 8.00am - 5.00pm.

The Hall also houses the Mt Surprise Community Library which is a community run service.  If you wouls like to browse the community library the key can be obtained by contacting Merle Taylor on 40623 101.  (The books are not in any particular order and it is requested that they be left tidy).
